About ethy Standards

Our standards illuminate the path towards a more sustainable future, aiming for a stable climate, abundant biodiversity, healthy ecosystems, a clean planet, healthy and thriving communities, and circular business models that responsibly use our precious resources – the six pivotal paths of our framework.

On the road to our ultimate destination will be stepping stones or actions to complete along the way. These are our individual standards and clear ecolabels, proudly issued to brands that meet our rigorous criteria and share our commitment to a more sustainable world.

The standards are public and fully transparent. The criteria and required proof for substantiating each claim is listed, showing what brands have done to meet each standard.

We aim to empower action and inspire a vision for a more responsible world, through offering positive, guiding language to enrich the everyday sustainability discussion. So, instead of focusing on the problem which is ‘climate change’, we aim for a ‘stable climate’ and solutions that will help us get there.

We invite you to join us on this collective sustainability journey, one step at a time.
