Selected as one of the most exciting UK start-ups, ethy is working with the University of Edinburgh to pilot their new and exciting circular economy & net-zero business framework.
Funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, the University of Edinburgh’s Circular Economy Centre have been developing a new and innovative business framework tool to enable start-ups and founders to transition their business operations to use circular economy principles and reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. ethy will be piloting this cutting edge framework during April and May 2022.
ethy's participation on the programme will serve two main purposes:
Firstly, ethy will learn how to measure, track and reduce it's own scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions and embed principles of circularity in its business model. Secondly, learnings from the programme will be used to influence ethy's own accreditation framework. In particular, ethy will draw upon the programme to further develop its Stable Climate and Responsible Resource Usage and Production assessment pillars.
