Love Heartwood

Love Heartwood produces beautiful hand-made wooden gifts, toys and homewares, direct from the UK countryside.

Headed up by woodturner Liz Pearson – who was inspired to create the brand after making a wooden teething rattle for her son – the company uses locally-reclaimed wood and plant-based finishes on all of its products. At least 30% of the brand’s product range is also vegan.

The entire product range – and all packaging – is plastic-free, and wood shavings are donated to a local school for use in its food composter. And for every order placed with the Living Wage company, it plants one tree in partnership with Ecologi.

As well as thoughtfully-made wood products, the company also offers bespoke commissions, a wooden toy repair service, and even wood turning lessons!

With a vision to become the most sustainable British toy brand on the market, Liz says: “As a mother, a designer and a woodturner it just makes sense to make products in harmony with nature and as natural as possible.”
