In the Stable Climate pathway, Millboard has achieved Carbon Measured by working with ethy partner ClimatePartner to report its greenhouse gas emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol standards. The business has also met the Powered by Renewables ecolabel standard by using renewable energy across all workspaces and manufacturing sites.

Millboard has earned recognition in the Clean Planet pathway with its Upcycled Products ecolabel. Every decking board is produced using recycled minerals, while its sub-frame system and materials are made entirely from recycled or recyclable plastic and aluminium. Alongside this, all product packaging is fully recyclable and the company continues to reduce solvent waste in its production processes.

Supporting fair employment and strong communities is central to Millboard’s values. Accredited by the Living Wage Foundation, the company ensures all staff are paid above the Real Living Wage. It also provides flexible working, enhanced family support and donates around one percent of turnover each year to charities, supporting more than 30 organisations.

Finally, Millboard has been recognised in the Responsible Resource Usage and Production pathway via its UK Made ecolabel. As a proud member of Made in Britain, all products are designed and manufactured in Britain, mitigating overseas transport miles while supporting the UK economy and local livelihoods.
